Jonathon Nicol has practiced law since 2005, including 15 years of nationwide practice at large international law firms representing the world’s biggest companies, along with significant small-business and pro bono experience. He focuses on commercial and civil litigation and business disputes, before state and federal courts, from pre-trial assessments, through trial and appeal. Jonathon’s experience includes all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy, discovery and depositions, dispositive motion practice, court hearings and oral arguments, jury and bench trials, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and appellate practice.
During law school, Jonathon was a judicial extern for the Honorable Joyce L. Kennard of the California Supreme Court.
Jonathon was awarded Best Oral Advocate of his law school’s Honors Moot Court Competition, and was part of the Northern California Innocence Project legal team that secured the exoneration of John Stoll after 20 years of wrongful imprisonment.
